About Our Church

Established in 1857

Our Mission

A FAMILY OF FAMILIES, building real relationships through Jesus Christ.

Historic Church,

Contemporary Vision

At Columbus Baptist Church, we believe in the everlasting Biblical truths that teach and guide us.  We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God - the revelation of Himself to man.  We believe in the Holy Trinity; God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe the free gift of salvation is offered to all who accept Jesus as Lord and Savior, who obtained eternal redemption by His own blood on the cross.  We memorialize the death and resurrection of Jesus when we partake of Holy Communion.  We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ as King of kings and Lord of lords.

Holding fast to the Biblical truths, we seek to bring a message of love and hope into our local community and beyond.  We practice our love of Jesus Christ in a welcoming, high energy, engaging family environment that most people are looking for from today's churches.
