The Good Neighbor Store
Supporting our local community with outreach programs and in times of need to touch the lives of those local to us.
About Us
What began in the sixties as "rummage sales" to raise money for some projects evolved into the Good Neighbor Store. With recent renovations, the beautiful store has become a place where the community can come and enjoy great prices on clothing and home goods.

The Good Neighbor Store works with Chaplain Chris Osborne in providing appropriate seasonal clothing for inmates. Additionally, the store helps Steps of Hope by providing clothing for women and children when leaving desperate situations. Winter coats and clothing have been provided to Tryon Elementary's Clothes Closet.
Recently, after two families experienced house fires, The Good Neighbor Store was able to provide clothing and household items. The Good Neighbor Store's benevolence fund was able to secure roof repairs for a family in desperate need. When Hurricane Helene came roaring through the area, the volunteers gathered up clothing and other necessary items for hurricane victims. The store is also involved with the Samaritan's Purse Shoebox Program.

Our volunteers are mighty prayer warriors and have been known to stop what they are doing and pray with someone who needs a touch from God.

The Good Neighbor Store is currently open
